Chef Miyakawa also spent time in Hong Kong before returning to Hokkaido to establish Sushi Miyakawa in 2014. The eponymous restaurant Sushi Miyakawa was lauded with three Michelin stars.
Sushi Miyakawa is the only sushi restaurant in Hokkaido to hold this highly revered accolade.
